The Fotona LightWalker® is an incredibly versatile, award-winning dental laser that combines two distinct wavelengths in a single system: Er:YAG (2940 nm) and Nd:YAG (1064 nm).
Because different tissues in your mouth absorb light differently, having both wavelengths allows us to treat a wide array of hard and soft tissue conditions with unparalleled precision. The Fotona system is often used for the TwinLight® Periodontal Treatment protocol.
The PerioLase® MVP-7 is a highly specialized, free-running pulsed Nd:YAG (1064 nm) laser. This specific system is unique because it is the only laser in the world scientifically engineered and FDA-cleared to perform the patented LANAP® (Laser-Assisted New Attachment Procedure) and LAPIP® (Laser-Assisted Peri-Implantitis Procedure) protocols.
